Safety First
At St Brendan’s School, we hold the care, safety and wellbeing of children and young people as a central and fundamental responsibility of our school. Our commitment is drawn from and inherent to the teaching and mission of Jesus Christ, with love, justice and the sanctity of each human person at the heart of the gospel (CECV Commitment Statement to Child Safety).
The person of each individual human being, in his or her material and spiritual needs, is at the heart of Christ’s teaching: this is why the promotion of the human person is the goal of the Catholic school
(The Catholic School on the Threshold of the Third Millennium, n. 9).
‘We embrace the uniqueness of our community and accept the call to be of service to others’
(St Brendan’s School Vision Statement)

Uniform
At St Brendan’s the school uniform is compulsory. Our uniform is neat and long-wearing and gives our students a sense of belonging to our community, helps develop a school tradition and does much to improve the school tone.
Your assistance is required in making sure that your child is dressed appropriately, and cleanly.
St Brendan’s is a Sunsmart School. Students are required to wear the school broad-brimmed or legionnaire hats that shade the face, neck and ears, whenever they are outside during the ‘Hats On’ period.
