Catering for individual needs.
At St Brendan’s School we identify and assist students who require extra assistance in their learning. To cater for students' needs we require open communication between the school and families. Assistance may be for academic, social or emotional reasons. Students with identified specific needs will be catered for through Personalised Learning Plans, Program Support Groups and ongoing monitoring and assessment.
As part of this ongoing support, referrals may be needed to access further assessments. This is done through Catholic Education Melbourne within the areas of Psychology, Speech Pathology and Educational Academic Support. Referrals can also be made to other outside agencies .
