Term 1 Week 8

Term 1 Week 8 - 22nd March 2024

GROWING THROUGH SERVICE

Dear Parents,

As our term speeds to its conclusion, I want to express my deep gratitude to you all for the welcome, support and encouragement you have shown me since my appointment at St Brendan’s.  It has been wonderful getting to know the children and families this term and to really spend time getting to understand what makes this community tick.

To our incredible staff, thank you for the profound contributions you make every day to the lives of the children in your care.  From teachers to LSOs to Administration Staff, I have been so impressed with the dedication, care and commitment each of you demonstrate in every interaction you have.  This school is very fortunate to have such giving professionals working for its betterment each day.

I would like to thank all of the parents, grandparents and volunteers who have given their time in various ways to assist us at school.  Schools are such busy places, so having this assistance ensures that we can give our children the best opportunities available.

Thank you to the wonderful children of St Brendan's School who are incredibly friendly, warm and accepting.  Seeing your smiling faces each morning at the gate is a highlight of my day, so thank you for making my transition to this new school community so happy and easy for me.

OPEN DAYS

Next Monday the 25th March at 9.15am we will conduct our third Open Day for 2024.  The interest in St Brendan’s is increasing with each week, with places for Open Day tours filling up.  Let’s keep the momentum going by remembering to talk positively to anyone who is looking for a great school. If you love the place, please tell anyone who will listen.

Thanks again to everyone who has taken part in our letterboxing for Open Days, especially to those who have returned to the school office to collect more fliers to deliver. The more people see our name around Flemington, the more likely they will be to want to find out for themselves what we are about.
